Vintage confectionery bowl, burnished brass with glass insert

Decorative confectionery or offering bowl made of burnished brass with glass insert. The glass insert has cut decorations and a wavy rim. This vintage bowl was manufactured by KDM (Koninklijke Metalwarenfabriek Daalderop/ Royal Metalware Factory Daalderop). Production period probably between 1940 and 1960 using even older moulds. The glass insert is in very good condition (no chipping, cracks etc.). The rest of the bowl shows minor signs of use and a beautiful age-related patina.
