Antique Frisian casket, wood with silver fittings on the lid and old chip carving at all sides

This Frisian casket was probably made around 1900. The lid is decorated with silver fittings (stork in reeds, corners in old silversmithing technique). The casket is decorated all around with old Frisian chip carving. A crack in the wood at one corner caused by age has been repaired using the old technique with small brass nails (which also hold the silverwork).
